Your Digital Home
Your Home in the Village
Every villager gets a digital home. It is a set of folders in Nextcloud — a private, secure file system that belongs to you. Think of it as your desk, your filing cabinet, and your studio, all in one place.
When you first log in, your home looks like this:

What Is Public
Photos you place in My Home/Photos/ will appear on your public village page at kauaidigitalvillage.com. They are automatically optimized for the web. Give it about a minute after uploading.
What Is Private
Everything else is private by default. Your documents, invoices, and reports are visible only to you unless you explicitly share them.
What Syncs to the Website
Only your Photos folder and your profile information. Nothing else leaves your home without your action.
Small Step
When you are ready: open your files, look around, and rename one file or create a simple note. That is all. No upload required.
