3. You are comfortable with a stewarded process. You do not expect instant publishing or self-serve tools.
4. You are okay with someone reviewing your content before it goes live. This is a feature, not a limitation.
What the Village Is Not For
It is not for businesses that operate exclusively off-island. It is not for mass-market e-commerce. It is not for anyone looking for a free website builder — the village is a community, not a tool.
What Happens If You Request an Invitation
Step 1: You submit a request at kauaidigitalvillage.com/join
Step 2: A steward reviews your project (2-5 days)
Step 3: If approved, you receive a setup link by email
Step 4: You complete a short orientation course (about 60 minutes)
Step 5: Your home is built, reviewed, and published at a permanent address
There are no fees. No subscriptions. No hidden costs. The village is community-supported.
